HOW HEAVY IS A TERRASTAIR?

This is dependent on the length and gradient of your slope. We manufacture Terrastair in sections however and ensure that each section if lift able without mechanical equipment. Each section typically is less that 3M long.

HOW DO I MEASURE MY SLOPE?

Each tread on a stair is required to be uniform in size to all others within a flight of treads. Terrastair therefore works on a regular slope, i.e. a straight slope as shown. All that is required is the length along the surface of the slope and the gradient. We will design a Terrastair to fit your slope and email you the design back for approval.

HOW SKILLED DO I NEED TO BE TO INSTALL?

The video on the homepage demonstrates the process involved in a successful installation. Once the position of the first section is established, Terrastair simply bolts together.

CAN I USE TERRASTAIR ON DIFFERENT SLOPES?

Yes – if the gradient is the same then the treads will be horizontal. There would be no problem in using sections on a different slope. If the gradient is different, then the treads will not be horizontal. We would not recommend that terrastair be used where the treads were not horizontal.
